Robert Don Collier
Robert Don Collier is the Managing Partner of the Firm.
Mr. Collier is Board Certified in Tax Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.
Mr. Collier is regularly involved in Federal estate, gift and income tax controversies. In recent years, an increasingly large part of his practice has been devoted to representing large estates in Federal estate tax audits, appeals and trials. Mr. Collier also concentrates on tax and business planning, with special emphasis on the Federal tax consequences associated with all aspects of such businesses.
Mr. Collier has been involved in all aspects of the real estate timeshare business for many years. He was a major participant in the drafting of the 2006 Texas Timeshare Act and the 2009 Massachusetts Real Estate Timeshare Act. He has also participated in the drafting of various timeshare related bills in other states.
Mr. Collier has been a presenter for numerous legal, accounting, financial and industry-specific professional organizations on various topics involving Federal tax matters and Federal estate tax controversy subjects.
Mr. Collier was admitted to practice in Texas in 1973.
