Jason B. Freeman
Mr. Freeman practices in the areas of Income Tax Litigation, White Collar and Government Regulatory Litigation, Estate and Gift Tax Litigation and Commercial Litigation. He represents individuals, estates, partnerships, closely-held businesses, and large corporations in all stages of a tax dispute, including IRS examinations, administrative appeals, and litigation in U.S. Tax Court, Federal District Court, and the Court of Federal Claims. His practice also concentrates on resolving white collar criminal investigations and prosecutions and on resolving commercial disputes.
Mr. Freeman published an article, 'No Good Deed Goes Unpunished-The Limitations and Pitfalls of Tax Code Driven Investment in U.S. Virgin Islands, in the Feb.-March 2012 issue of the Journal of Tax Practice & Procedure (a bi-monthly journal published by CCH, a Wolters Kluwer business).
Mr. Freeman is a Certified Public Accountant. Prior to attending law school, he was a practicing CPA with an international accounting firm. Mr. Freeman was admitted to practice in Texas in 2009.
